The Ottumwa boys basketball team couldn’t overcome a slow start for themselves or slow down a strong finish by Des Moines North. The Bulldogs gave up the first 13 points of a CIML Metro Conference make-up game Saturday to the Polar Bears, who finished the game with 40 second-half points to pull away for a 70-38 victory.
