OTTUMWA —
Time and Place: 7 p.m. tonight at the Hellyer Student Life Center in Ottumwa.
Broadcast Info: The game will be carried live on KMGO radio (98.7 FM), KEDB radio (105.3) and on the Internet at www.kmgo.com.
Records: 11th-ranked Indian Hills is 11-1 overall. Clinton is 4-6.
Great matchups in store for Hy-Vee Classic: The final home in-season tournament of the year for IHCC will feature a classic finale as the Warriors take on a rival from Missouri’s Region XVI, Mineral Area (12-2), Saturday night at 7 p.m. The 4:30 p.m. matchups will pit Mineral Area on Friday and Clinton on Saturday against Kingdom Prep Academy out of Des Moines.
Dealing with injuries: The Warriors will once again have to rely on their depth this weekend as two players will be out with shoulder injuries. Besides being without Jelan Kendrick, who injured his shoulder last week against Malcolm X, IHCC will be without Ronnie Stevens who injured his shoulder in practice after a 13-point, nine-rebound effort against Independence.
Coach Peery says: “We’ve got three tough games coming up. I think we have to get our legs back under us and get some things wrapped up academically this week before wrapping up the first half of the season.”
