Lady Dees fall Saturday at Saydel tourney
SAYDEL — Reba Summers drilled four 3-pointers and scored 20 points, but it wasn’t enough for the Albia Lady Dees as they took a tough 49-46 loss to Perry in girls basketball action on Saturday at the Saydel Tournament.
The loss dropped Albia to 1-1 on the season, and the Lady Dees will get back into action on Dec. 1, when they travel to Corydon to take on Wayne.
Amy Garver has eight points for Albia while Kara Goemaat added seven.
