The Moravia football team exploded for 42 second-half points to pick up its first win of the season, as the Mohawks defeated Seymour 48-14 in Eight-Player football action on Friday.
Spencer Stufflebeam rushed for five touchdowns and grabbed a touchdown pass from Briar Cochran as the Mohawks ended the season with a 1-9 record.
“It’s great to get a win for our seniors in our final game,” said Moravia coach Denny Whitlow. “Hopefully that can be a good springboard into next season.”
Stufflebeam’s rushing scores came from 43, 2, 4, 67 and 29 yards out. Gunner Miller added a 45-yard touchdown run for Moravia. Stufflebeam finished with 243 yards rushing while Miller added 93.
Calvin Walker had a pair of scoring runs for Seymour (1-8).
