OSKALOOSA —

The Centerville freshman shot an eye-opening score of 29 — six under par — to help his team defeat Eddyville-Blakesburg and Sigourney Monday in a triangular at Harvest Point.
“He deserves it, he works hard at his game,” Centerville head coach Mike Carney said.
Moore finished eight strokes ahead of his nearest competitor, Ben Roberts of Eddyville-Blakesburg, who finished with a round of 37.
Eddyville-Blakesburg carded a team score of 174 and Sigourney shot 191.
Following Moore for Centerville was Austin Huebner with 40. Quentin Fowler finished with 42 and Logan Dabney 43.
Jason Crosby and Jacob Lane of Eddyville-Blakesburg both finished with 44, while Cole Streigle led Sigourney with 42.
