Bunnell pleads not guilty in robbery

OTTUMWA — The man accused of robbing an Ottumwa landlord at gunpoint had pleaded not guilty.

Curtis Bunnell, 38, of Oskaloosa, is being held on a $25,000 cash-only bond at the Wapello County Jail on a charge of first-degree robbery.

During his initial court appearance this week, Bunnell pleaded not guilty. He is also facing felony theft charges out of Polk County.

His next appearance in Wapello County is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday.
