BLOOMFIELD —
Nancy I. Bower, 73, of 2244 120th Ave., died at 2:26 p.m. February 4, 2013 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
She was born June 23, 1939 to Ray and Bernice Boyer Howk. She married Robert E. Bower on July 5, 1958.
A graduate of Davis County High School, Nancy drove the bus for Cardinal schools for 32 years.
Surviving is her husband, Bob; three sons, Dave Bower and Bill (Dee) Bower both of Bloomfield, Joe (Mandy) Bower of Ottumwa; a daughter, Rhonda (Dave) Kirfman of Ottumwa; 12 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren; two brothers, Paul (Stacy) Howk of Drakesville and David (Lorraine) Howk of Bloomfield; two sisters, Evelyn Adams of Ottumwa and Doris Baird of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jeffery Bower; and two brothers, Charlie Howk and Junior Howk.
Her body has been cremated.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with Gary Reeves officiating. Inurnment will be in the Batavia Cemetery at a later date.
