SIGOURNEY —
John William Appleget, 83, of Williamsburg, formerly of Sigourney, died Jan. 14, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Celebration of life service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Williamsburg; Rev. James Parks will officiate. Burial will be 1 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sigourney.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
A general memorial fund has been established.
