Sandra Lee Davidson, 68, of 10942 Halite Blvd, died at 7:30 p.m. December 30, 2012 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
She was born February 4, 1944 in Ottumwa to Harold A. and Dorothy Mae Ash Davis. She married Ernest Wayne Davidson Sr. on June 11, 1960.
Sandra had been the general manager for Dandy Dollar, retiring in May 2010.
She was associated with the Shepherd Chapel and she and her husband were musicians.
Surviving is her husband, Ernest; three sons, Ernest Wayne Davidson Jr. of Drakesville, John Leon Davidson of Ottumwa and Jamey Don Davidson of Bloomfield; 8 grandchildren, Michael Wayne Davidson, Desiree Dawn Potter, Nathaniel Rayn Davidson, Nikki Camper, Chelsea Marie Davidson, Zachery Ryan Davidson, Christopher Golesh, Jonathan Golesh; four great-grandchildren, Alexis Strunk, Clayton Edward Jordan, Abbigal Davidson, Nathan Golesh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold A. and Dorothy Mae Ash Davis; a sister, Dorothy Darlene Davis Pugh and a brother, Harold Alfred “Chubby” Davis Jr.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Gingerich officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
