AGENCY —
Carol Jean Culp, 54, of 10026 Old Agency Rd., died at 4:40 a.m. December 31, 2012 at Hospice House in Ottumwa.
She was born November 24, 1958 in Ft. Madison to Edward and Marjorie Zachmeyer Hemm. She married Carl Culp on April 3, 1998.
Carol was a graduate of Rio Linda High School in California and had been the assistant manager of Dollar General for the past 6 years. She previously was the manager of Orschlen Farm & Home Supply.
She was a member of Eldon Assembly of God.
Carol enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time on the beach.
Surviving is her husband, Carl; five children, Phillip (Brandy) Hemm of Douds, Kimberly (Jon) Mason of Fairfield, Raymond Stone Jr. of Iowa City, Brandon Culp and Cody Culp both of Yankton, SD; 6 grandchildren; her parents, Edward and Marjorie Hemm of Douds; two brothers, Mike (Sandra) Hemm of Brownwood, TX and Mark (Julie) Hemm of Smithville, MO; three sisters, Carla (Bob) Christner and Donna (Marvin) Taylor both of Eldon and Becky (Russ) Yoder of Wayland; many nieces and nephews.
Her body has been cremated.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Eldon Assembly of God with Rev. John Cooper officiating. Inurnment will be in Iowaville Cemetery at a later date.
