Heather C. Myers, 38, of Hedrick, died August 20, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.
She was born February 27, 1974 in Oskaloosa to Dan and Charlene Locke Myers.
Heather had attended school in Eddyville, and had worked at Parkview Plaza and for Pioneer. She loved her cats, and loved cooking, baking, mowing her yard and fishing.
Surviving are her father and step-mother, Dan and Deanne Myers of Fremont; her mother and step-father, Charlene and Harold Hanson of Eddyville; a brother, Eric (Pam Hannum) Myers of Des Moines; two step-sisters, Jessica (Dave) Tisl and Katie Dunn both of Cedar Rapids; a nephew, Spencer; her partner, Doug Elmore of Hedrick; aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Maxine Crady, Harvey Locke, Leslie and Gladys Myers.
Her body has been cremated.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Hornback officiating.
Visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
