OTTUMWA —
Cecelia Louise Gullett, 67, of 102 W. Finley, died July 11, 2012 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
She was born November 23, 1944 in Ottumwa to Roy Gilber and Jean Maxine Turner Harris. She married Vernon Gullett on July 28, 1973. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1994.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1962, she had been a resident of Ottumwa all of her life.
She had worked at Swenson’s Bakery, Chamberlain Mfg., Sutherlands, and Traul’s Mighty Clean. at the Ottumwa Clinic
Surviving are a daughter, Veronica (Rodney) Pickrell of Agency; two step-daughters, Connie (Danny) Leonard and Marlene (James) Wagner both of Ottumwa; a step-son, Gary (Becky) Gullett of Urbandale; two grandchildren, Nicholas Dean Pickrell and Sydney Leigh Pickrell; 8 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; and her dog, Keke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Gilber Harris and Jean Maxine Sauer; a step-father, Earl Sauer; and a brother, Garold Wynn.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Dawson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Sunday with the family present from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
