Janice Marie Elwood Hixson, 75, of Melrose, died Oct. 10, 2012, at Monroe County Hospital in Albia.
Per her wishes, Janice’s body has been cremated.
Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Friday at Tharp Funeral Home in Albia; with Rev. Gary Burkhalter officiating.
Visitation with the family present will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, an open memorial has been established.
