OTTUMWA —
Donna Mae Clark, 83, formerly of 705 Clinton Ave., died at 7:35 a.m. March 8, 2013 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
She was born June 2, 1929 in Ottumwa to Evertt and Lois Cornnell Summers. She married Thomas William Clark on August 20, 1948. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1992.
A 1946 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Donna had worked as an aide at St. Joseph Hospital and then Ottumwa Regional Health Center, retiring in 1990.
Surviving are two daughters, Lois (Keith) Brisendine and Teresa (Jerry) Brisendine; a son, Jim (Denise Smith) Clark all of Ottumwa; a daughter-in-law, JaNan Clark of Mystic, IA; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Elkins and Carole Moore both of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Tom Clark; a granddaughter and a sister, Helen Johnston.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday with the family present from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Society – Ottumwa.
