Robert Leo “Bob” Roush, 74, of 506 N. Vine, died at 10:12 p.m. July 11, 2012 at Ridgewood Nursing and Rehab Center
He was born December 19, 1937 in Ottumwa to Glenn and Icel Cudworth Roush. He married Anna Lois Kent on September 15, 1970.
A 1956 graduate of Ottumwa High School, he served in the U. S. Army from 1963 to 1966 stationed in Germany.
Bob had worked at Everco, and then worked for John Deere Ottumwa Works for 25 years.
He was a member of O.B. Nelson Post #3 American Legion and had been a member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge #347. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Ottumwa Bowling Association’s Hall of Fame. He umpired for Pee Wee and Little League baseball.
Surviving are his wife, Anna; two sons, Michael (fiance, Brenda West) Roush of Washington, IA and Tracy Roush of Agency; two daughters, Brenda (Steve) Marciniak of Michigan City, IN and Glenda (Jack) Ronco of LaCrosse, IN; four grandchildren, Kaitlin, Kayla Jessica and Matthew; a great-granddaughter, Amelia; a brother, Richard Roush of Freeport, IL; and a sister, Marilyn (Duane) Coltrain of Webster, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday. Cremation will follow the visitation.
Memorials may be made to Care Initiatives Hospice or Agency Little League.
