OTTUMWA —
Fletcher Daniel Hall III, 49, of 229 S. Schuyler died at 11:35 a.m. September 22, 2012 at the Veterans Medical Center in Iowa City.
He was born September 14, 1963 in Toledo, Ohio to Fletcher Daniel and Dawn Paulette Bolander Hall II. He married Peni Coltrain September 15, 1984. They later divorced.
A graduate of Robert S. Rogers High School in Toledo, OH, he had served in U.S. Marine Corps. He was a carpenter. He enjoyed Michigan Wolverines football, wrestling, golf, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Fletcher D. (Kelly Marberry) Hall IV of Ottumwa and two daughters, Aletha Hall of Ottumwa and Felicia (Pfc. Jesse) Benson of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; three grandchildren, Karissa, Fletcher V and Bentley; three brothers, Randy (Sherra) Hall of Moravia, Fred and Tim “Bubba” Hall both of Toledo, OH and three sisters, Kelly (Roy) Hagerman of Montana, Shelly and Bridgetti (Bob) Moore both of Toledo, OH; his best friend, his dog, Dempsey and his good friend, Marvin Walker of Ottumwa
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Cremation will follow the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family.
