David Vinton, 70, of Oskaloosa, died Aug. 21, 2012, at the Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Iowa City.
As was David’s wish, his body will be cremated following the visitation.
Graveside memorial services and burial of the urn will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. A procession will form at 9:30 a.m. at the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa for those wishing to go to the cemetery. You are welcome to ride your motorcycle in the procession, as David’s last ride to Washington will be on a motorcyle.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel with the family present from 5-7 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Mahaska Hospice.
