BLOOMFIELD — Harvey Philip Roulet, 88, of Bloomfield, died July 18, 2012, at his home. 

He was born April 9, 1924, in Bloomfield to Samuel and Fannie Maurer Roulet. He married Maxine Johnson July 15, 1951, in Ottumwa. 

He served in the United States Army during World War II. Harvey was a farmer and raised livestock. He was a member of the Pulaski Mennonite Church and Reed-Whisler Post #78 of the American Legion in Bloomfield. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and helping people.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Richard (Marcia) Roulet of Muskego, Wis., Ronald Roulet of Des Moines,; two granddaughters, Jennifer Symanski and Carrie Roulet, both of Franklin, Wis.; a great-grandson, Tyler Symanski; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Junior Roulet and Dwight Roulet.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield; with Pastor Darrell Zook officiating. Burial with graveside military rites performed by Reed-Whisler Post #78 of the American Legion will be at the Pulaski Cemetery in Pulaski.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the family present to greet friends from 2-4 p.m.  

Memorials have been established to the Pulaski Mennonite Church and the American Heart Association.
