BLOOMFIELD —
Doris Lee Gilliand, 87, of Bloomfield, died Feb. 2, 2013, at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.
She was born July 13, 1925, in Davis County, to Ira L. and Julia Hilpert Prevo. She married Clifford Gilliand Jan. 12, 1963, in Bloomfield. He preceded her in death Sept. 24, 1987.
Doris was a homemaker.
She is survived by three nephews, Harold (Linda) Yahnke and Jack (Linda) Prevo, both of Bloomfield, and Terry (Mary) White of Ottumwa; two nieces, Judy Biderman of Coralville and Sheryl (Jim) McLain of Cantril; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Lester Prevo; and two sisters, Ollie Yahnke and Berdena White.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Drakesville Cemetery in Drakesville; with Pastor Jerry Caughron officiating.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the family present from 5-7 pm.
A memorial has been established to the Friends of the Bloomfield Public Library.
