OTTUMWA —
Martin Lee Durflinger, 23, of 4115 Bladensburg Rd., died December 12, 2012 as the result of an auto accident.
He was born March 2, 1989 in Ottumwa to Mark and Linda Miller Durflinger.
A 2007 graduate of Pekin High School, Martin farmed, raised cattle and drove truck.
He was a member of the Wapello County 4-H and enjoyed participating in tractor pulls.
Surviving are his parents, Mark and Linda Durflinger of Hedrick; a brother, Marcus Durflinger of Hedrick; a sister Lori (Bobby) Durflinger Feilmeier of Omaha, NE; grandparents, Harry and Betty Durflinger of Greentop, MO and Cecilia Durflinger of Ottumwa; a nephew, Logan Feilmeier of Omaha, NE; aunts and uncles, Cheryl (Jim) Hinckley of Fairfield, Cindy (Jerry) Morrow of Ottumwa, Carol (Tony) Heitzig of Jerseyville, IL, Suzanne (Paul) Albert of Kyle, TX, Arthur (Tuk) Miller of Dalzell, SC; Greg Durflinger of Greentop, MO; many cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Arthur and Mary Miller.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Competine Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Sunday with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bladensburg Christian Church or Wapello County 4-H.
