OTTUMWA —
Shirley Patricia “Pat” Terrell, 84, of 1045 Bruce St., died at 11:45 p.m. Dec. 2, 2012, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
She was born October 13, 1928 in Creston to Robert and Mary Florence Luckinbill Lingle.
A 1947 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Pat worked as a cook for many years, working over 20 years at J.B.’s
Surviving are three daughters, Cheryl Terrell (Ron Matthews) of Ottumwa, Janet Jackson of Des Moines and Sue Kaufmann of Batavia; three sons, Steven (Mary) Terrell of Eldon, Richard (Edith) Lovell and Bryan Terrell both of Ottumwa; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Bob Gonzalez, Rick Johnson, Pat and Duane Walker; and her dog, Misty.
She was preceded in death by two sons, infant Jonathan Terrell and Gregory Terrell; five sisters, Arlene Tomey, Joyce Anders, Delores Diers, Beryl Bissell and Doris Howard; two brothers, Bobby and Donald Lingle.
Graveside services and burial will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Shaul Cemetery with Father Bernie Weir officiating. There will be no visiation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Reece Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
