OTTUMWA —
William Kenneth “Bill” Eastlick, 81, formerly of 1124 S. Milner St. died at 3:57 p.m. February 15, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Society – Ottumwa.
He was born October 10, 1931 in Waterloo to Samuel Sylvester and Agnes Grace Hornick Eastlick. He married Donna I. Brewer May 5, 1955 in Albia.
Bill had owned and operated Eastlick Trucking, retiring in 1989.
He had been a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Georgetown.
He loved singing and playing guitar at public events in and around Ottumwa. He had been a member of “Gear Jammers” and “River Valley Boys” bands. He also enjoyed camping and traveling; hosting campgrounds for 12 years.
Surviving is his wife, Donna; 4 sons, Bill J. (Diana) Eastlick of Ottumwa, Bob Eastlick of Ottumwa, David (Tina) Eastlick of Blakesburg and Dan (Tami) Eastlick of Ottumwa; a daughter, Yvonne Vandello of Ottumwa; 9 grandchildren; a step-granddaughter; 10 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Robert Eastlick of Albia and Richard Eastlick of Moravia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Dorla and Leonard Wasko; and 2 sisters-in-law, Sandie and Millie Eastlick.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with Father Patrick Hilgendorf presiding. Cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
