Norma Lee Garrett, 77, of Bloomfield, died Aug. 23, 2012, at her home.
She was born Feb. 17, 1935, in Downing, Mo., to Oran Lawrence and Lela Marie Norman Speer. She married Albert Garrett May 22, 1962, in Memphis, Mo. Norma was a homemaker and a member of the Bloomfield Tabernacle Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Lisa Hugen of Ottumwa; a son, Steven Garrett of Glendale, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and a brother, Ellis Speer of Downing, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dale Speer.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield; Pastor Tom Shipley officiating. Burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitation will begin after 10 a.m. Sunday with the family present to greet friends from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials have been established to the Bloomfield Tabernacle Baptist Church and Hospice of Wapello and Davis Counties.
