ELDON —
Alfred Kyle Stansberry, 42, of Eldon, formerly of Blakesburg, died December 3, 2012 at his home.
He was born September 5, 1970 in Leon to Alfred and Estelle Anderson Stansberry. He married Margie Weltch on April 3, 1999.
A 1989 graduate of Blakesburg High School, Kyle had worked as Director of Operations for Burger King in Ottumwa for 22 years. He was a member of New Hope Masonic Lodge #480 A.F. & A. M. where he was currently serving as Worshipful Master. Kyle was also a member of the Wapello County Sheriff’s Reserve, a founding member of the local chapter of the Blue Knights and a member of ABATE of Iowa District #14.
Surviving is his wife, Margie; three step-children, Nicole Lynn Sanders of South Carolina, Travis Michael (Nicole) Sanders of Agency, Michelle Lee (Travis) Rocco of Germany; three step-grandchildren, Trestin Dean Sales, Kyrsten Beach DeWees and Maykayla Ann Russell; two sisters, Dianne (Bob) Hammond and Stacey (Gordon) Keeton; a brother, Doug Stansberry; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Danni.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the services.
Visitation begins at noon Thursday with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. A Masonic service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Wapello County Sheriff’s Reserve, New Hope Masonic Lodge # 480 A.F. & A.M. or to the family.
