DRAKESVILLE — Roberta A. Roberts, 50, of Drakesville, passed away Aug. 17, 2012, at her mother’s home in Drakesville.

Roberta Ann Roberts was born on Jan. 22, 1962, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Jack and Evelyn Cook Roberts. She was educated at Cardinal School and graduated from the physical therapy assistant program at Indian Hills Community College.

Roberta was a travelling physical therapy assistant, spending a great deal of time in Colorado and Texas. She loved to watch television, read romance novels, watch wrestling and make dream catchers.

Survivors include one daughter, Mindy Baringer and husband Josh of Kansas City, Kan.; one son, Shawn Everett of Ottumwa; two grandchildren, Dalis Bride and Austen Baringer; her mother, Evelyn Roberts of Drakesville; two sisters, Cindy Pearson and husband Dennis of Floris and Kathy McCall and husband Albert of Floris; two brothers, Royce Roberts and wife Dianna of Udell and Jerry Roberts of Bloomfield; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Cremation has been requested. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Floris Community Center.

A memorial fund is being established for Hospice of Davis and Wapello Counties.
