Harry Emory Clark, 23, of Burlington, formerly of Albia, made the ultimate sacrifice for his country when he passed away while on duty aboard the USS Fetchteller Destroyer Escort-157 on May 5, 1944, in the Mediterranean Sea.
Memorial services will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Iowa Veterans Cemetery at Van Meter in Adel; with Chaplain Wolfram officiating.
