BLOOMFIELD —
An Ottumwa teenager was arrested Monday following allegations that he sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl on four separate occasions in Bloomfield.
Timothy Lee Clawson Jr., 19, of Ottumwa, was charged Monday with four counts of third-degree sexual assault. The alleged assaults were reported to the Bloomfield Police Department on Friday, said officer Nathan Johnson.
Clawson is currently being held in Wayne County Jail on $10,000 cash-only bond. He is being held in Wayne County because the Davis County Jail is currently at capacity, Johnson said.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Dec. 10.
