Semi, motorcycle accident injures one

CINCINNATI — A motorcyclist was injured after striking a semi Friday morning.

At 7:49 a.m. Friday, a motorcycle driven by Vernon Hutchinson, 35, of Unionville, Mo., crossed the center line of Iowa Highway T20, striking the rear duals of a semi driven by Timothy Furnald, 62, of Seymour.

The accident occurred approximately four miles south of Cincinnati.

Hutchinson was injured and taken to Mercy Hospital in Centerville. He was wearing a helmet.

Charges are pending.
