PHOTO: Prepare taxes early and relax
AARP’s tax experts worked their mathematical magic on area residents’ financial statements Wednesday afternoon at Quincy Place Mall. AARP Tax Aide volunteers will be available to prepare income tax returns free of charge 1-5 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays until April 11 at the mall. The service is for low- to moderate-income taxpayers of any age, with special attention given to those 60 and older. Taxpayers should bring last year’s completed return to their appointment. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 641-937-5749.
