OTTUMWA —
Monday, Labor Day, marks the unofficial end of summer. It also means a large handful of closures.
City offices in Ottumwa, including City Hall, the Ottumwa Cemetery, the library, Ottumwa Water and Hydro, and the landfill/recycling center will all be closed.
The holiday also means a change to trash pickup schedules. Collections usually scheduled for Monday will be pushed back to Tuesday. Bulky item and yard waste pickups usually done on Tuesdays will be moved back to Thursday.
