The Seneca Area Agency on Aging local sites are air-conditioned and available for cooling off. Most Seneca meal sites have this service available; call them if you or a family member are unsure.
There are two sites in Ottumwa. The Salvation Army meal site, at 725 W. Second St. will be available M-F, 9am-2pm.
If it’s more convenient, you can cool off at the Seneca business office, which is at 117 N. Cooper in Ottumwa and is available M-F 8am-4pm.
• In Bloomfield, visit 109 E. Franklin M-F from 8am-3pm
• In Centerville, cool off at 922 W. State St. M-F, 7am-2pm.
• In Oskaloosa, seniors can go to 715 B Ave. East M-F 8am-3pm.
