Iowa Artists Annual Area 11 Art Show winners named

OTTUMWA — The Iowa Artists Annual Area 11 Art Show held at Albia Road Baptist Church this past weekend featured 46 entries.  

Artists came from throughout the area, including Appanoose, Davis, Keokuk, Lucas, Mahaska, Marion, Monroe, Wapello and Wayne counties.

Blue ribbons went to: Susan Baer from Chariton for Ascension (Watercolor), Lyn Schuck from Pleasantville for Cierra (Pastel), Patsy Murphy from Knoxville for Opening the Field (Pastel) and Linda Grice from South English for Hibiscus (Oil).  

Red ribbon winners were:  Lyn Schuck from Pleasantville for Dian (Pastel), Vickie Parker from Albia for Pretty "n" Pink (Watercolor), Annette Scieszinski from Albia for New Day Darling (Oil) and Ina Hartman from Ottumwa for Golden Lilies (Acrylic)

White ribbons were awarded to: Melynda VanZee from Pella for Germination (Acrlylic), Jennifer Hess from Albia for Untitled Oil Painting, Mary Jurgensen from Albia for Orange Crush (Oil) and Alleen Hedge from Fremont for Spring Carpet (Pastel).
