Input sought on proposed lazy river

CHELSEA DAVIS Courier Staff Writer

OTTUMWA — The community is invited to attend the Parks Advisory Board meeting Tuesday to provide input on a proposed lazy river at the Beach Ottumwa.

The board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Room 108 at City Hall.

The proposed project for the Beach Ottumwa is in the planning and discussion stages. The project is estimated to cost up to $2.5 million and would be located in the fenced-in area on the western side of the Beach Ottumwa grounds. No funding has been committed to this project to date.
