Eldon blessed by the community’s people

ELDON — Thank You “Friends of Christmas” for brightening so many families’ Christmas season. You, along with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, helped 13 families and 34 kids in the Cardinal school district. It was wonderful.

You tirelessly prepared, served and delivered a delicious Christmas meal to more than 80 people, whether they were homebound, home alone or decided to stop by Chommy’s to eat with friends.

I not only thank Chommy’s and their wonderful staff, but also the different organizations and individuals who made donations to make this happen. If it was not for all of these caring people, so many families would not have had the Christmas they experienced this year.

With community spirit like ours, we are truly blessed to have each and every one of you.

Thank you!

Shirley Stacey

Mayor of Eldon
