The tree, the wreath, the gift, the light — all reminders of what our gracious Lord has done for us all.
The Tree: “The Lord Jesus bore our sins in His own body on the tree.” 1 Peter 2:24
The Wreath: “Pilate took Jesus and scourged Him. And the soldiers plaited a crown of thorns, and put in on His head ... and smote Him.” John 19:1-3
The Gift: “The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
The Light: “Jesus said, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness.” John 8:12
