We are writing to encourage voters to vote for Beckie Appleget for Keokuk County auditor in the upcoming general election. Beckie brings a professionalism that comes with her years of experience as a school secretary at Tri-County Community Schools, as well as with her current position at Indian Hills Community College. Three terms in office is long enough for any local incumbent under normal circumstances. The painful cost increases to our local schools due to an addition error by our auditor in her last term indicates that we deserve a new elected auditor.
