Letters to the Editor
This is the finest country in the world
Someone told my spouse that she misses my letters in the Courier.
Well, I lived in five countries before I came here. In every country you have to work hard to make a standard of living and prove yourself to be accepted.
In this country, you are accepted the way you come, and if you are successful and reach out to help others, you continue to make friends.
Of course, I’m not as successful at 87 as I used to be at 47, but I’m still here for others.
This is the finest country in this world, and I call it “my paradise.”
Maybe I should write more often, to let you know that I love you all.
I wish you all the best in this world.
Your friend,
John W. Woudenberg Sr.
