This is a response to the letter writer and his “absolute positions.” He says he “cannot pass judgment on others,” but proceeds to do so anyway. These are my comments on his positions.
1. “Freedom of religion and freedom from religion are synonymous.” The only way you can have freedom “from” religion is if everyone else shuts up.
2 You equate homosexual behavior with the “civil rights” of any “ethnicity, nationality, religion and lack of religion.” What two consenting adults do behind closed doors is none of my business. But to demand that this behavior is normal and that we must accept it as such is too much.
3. I’m sorry preaching about Hell bothers you. But know this, if there wasn’t Hell, we wouldn’t need Jesus Christ. Your choice.
4. I am in favor of overturning Roe vs. Wade, not because I “hate women,” but because I love children.
5. “Fox News is the propaganda wing of the GOP,” “a Republican is always guilty until proven innocent” and people from “middle and lower classes that support the GOP are (like) sick puppies that fetch the papers their masters roll and beat them with daily.” So much for “not passing judgment.”
Just who are these “sick puppies that support the GOP.” We take pride in our individual accomplishments, accept responsibility for our own actions and respect others who do the same. If that sounds like you, vote GOP.
