This is concerning child support. It’s a shame when the state makes a mistake and lets child support build up and cause hardships on people, or don’t do anything to recover child support from people that owes thousands instead of letting them slide for years and doing nothing about it.
Then on the other hand there’s a person trying to do the right thing in reporting when they went back to work and they freeze his bank account so he can’t pay his bills and not notify him of the freeze causing another hardship of overdraft feels. Is this legal or fair to the person trying to get back on their feet after being out of work.
Especially when they are trying to do the right thing. There’s people out there that haven’t paid child support for years or they have some kind of contract that their money can’t be touched for child support. What’s the deal here? Never heard of it until recently.
All the money this person has made, child support was always taken out. There for years after his divorce he was overpaying. Up until two years ago when things got straightened out, but he didn’t get credit for that. So what’s the deal? Get your stuff together and do the right thing.
