Loss of ‘fair share’ will cost state jobs, revenue
With the 2010 Legislature in session comes the threat that the anti-right-to-work bill “fair share” could be passed.
Without right to work, Iowa will be less attractive to businesses which will cost us much needed jobs and the state tax revenue. The very thing we don’t need during a recession or any other time.
Please contact your state lawmakers, especially Sen. Gronstal, Speaker Murphy and Gov. Culver. Politely remind them this is an election year and that we expect them to protect our right to work from “fair share” or any other such bills.
No state has ever repealed a right to work law; don’t let Iowa be the first.
