OTTUMWA —
Ottumwa Community Children’s Playhouse is holding auditions for the first play of the 2013 season.
These auditions will be held from 2-4 p.m. Feb. 16-17 at the Bridge View Center. The show dates are April 12-14.
“A Walk in the Woods” by Debbie Metzler includes the tales of Goldilocks, the Three Bears, Red Riding Hood, the Three Pigs and Hansel and Gretel all blended together.
Goldilocks has had to survive in the woods for a long time and is on the run from the Three Bears, but she takes time to help Red Riding Hood. During their time in the woods they are saved by the woodsman from the Big Bad Wolf. Mother Goose characters also join in on the fun.
Auditions are open to any child ages 5-15 and no experience is necessary.
