OTTUMWA —
Artist and entertainer Fax Gilbert will perform “Mime, Masks, and Magic” at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Jan. 2.
Gilbert uses his classical mime training as a basis for a fast-paced show of physical comedy skits, masked characters, magic illusions, special effects and lively audience interaction.
Gilbert will perform for the patrons of the Ottumwa Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 2 at KC Hall. The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Ottumwa Public Library.
Since moving to Iowa from Boston in 1990, Gilbert has performed more than 4,000 programs at Midwest schools, libraries, theaters, conventions and festivals, including more than 2,000 in his home state of Iowa.
