OTTUMWA —
The Lowly Brass tuba/euphonium ensemble of Ottumwa will host the Ninth annual Ottumwa TUBACHRISTMAS celebration Saturday at the Indian Hills Community College at St. John Auditorium.
Any and all area musicians who pay the tuba or the baritone/euphonium are invited to participate in the event, which will culminate with a free public concert at 12 p.m.
Activities will start at 9:30 a.m. with registration for the participants. This will be followed by a 90-minute rehearsal and break before the concert begins at noon.
The mass ensemble will be held by Brenda Hagedon, musical director of the Ottumwa Municipal Band.
