OTTUMWA — The film, “Villisca: Living with a Mystery,” will be shown at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bridge View Center theater.
It is the true story of murder in the heartland — eight people were hacked to death with an axe in 1912 in Villisca, Iowa. Who was responsible for the murders remains a mystery.
The film is presented by the Ottumwa Area Arts Council. Admission is free.
