TAIKOPROJECT All-Stars have performed at the Academy Awards, The Grammy Awards and NBC’s “The Voice.” They bring heart-pounding energy and musicianship to the Sondheim Center stage at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 9.
TAIKOPROJECT All-Stars features a high-spirit blend of Japanese tradition and American innovation, transforming the ancient art of taiko into the next generation with sound and choreography featuring elements of contemporary rhythm, jazz and hip-hop to instrumental melodies. The result is a pulsating, ever-changing show of rhythm, music and movement.
Tickets are $27 for Zone 1, $23 for Zone 2, $19 for Zone 3 and youth tickets are $12 and available at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center Ticket Office, 641-472-2787 and www.FairfieldACC.com.
