1st Fridays Art Walk: All Things Local, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Sept. 4; celebrating harvest with local artists, food and music just north of the square (due to renovations) by the courthouse and the convention center; also, hay rides, pony rides, activities for children.
The Beach Boys 2009 Endless Summer Tour, Sept. 7 on the fields surrounding Fairfield Middle School, 404 W. Fillmore. Gate opens at 12 p.m. Opening act: The Nadas.
