OTTUMWA —
The country duo Florida Georgia Line will perform at the Bridge View Center next month with tickets going on sale this Friday.
Officials announced the duo will appear in concert at 8 p.m. Sept. 29 at Bridge View.
The duo — Monroe, Ga.’s Tyler Hubbard and Ormond Beach, Fla.’s Brian Kelley — have turned their highly engaging brand of showmanship into opening slots for artists like Jake Owen, Brantley Gilbert and Colt Ford and into a coveted spot on the 2012 Country Throwdown Tour with the likes of Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins and Justin Moore.
Now they have captured all the fire and energy of that stage show in a new single, “Cruise,” an anthem to love in its first magic moments. The first offering from their five-song album “It’z Just What We Do,” brings their trademark harmonies and rocking sound to bear on a tale of youthful attraction, music and Georgia backroads.
The duo has combined electrifying, hard-driving rock with honest, expressive lyrics into one of the most exciting sounds in all of country music.
Reserved seats will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Bridge View Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 800-345-7000. Tickets are $22, which includes a facility fee.
For more information, call the Bridge View Center at 641-684-7000.
