OTTUMWA —
The Ottumwa Community Children’s Playhouse is holding auditions for its winter production of “The Elves and The Shoemakers.”
Audtions will take place from 2-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Bridge View Center. Production dates are Dec. 7-9.
This is the traditional Grimm’s version of how the elves help a poor shoemaker make shoes to earn money. The shoemaker and his helper want to repay the elves for their kindness and do a favor for them in return.
Any child between the ages of 5-15 is eligible to audition. This play is being directed by Marc Lay and Becky Ingle. For more information, call 641-226-1523.
