OTTUMWA —
Gospel Music Association Artist of the Year Jason Crabb will appear in concert at Bridge View Center Theater on Sept. 27.
Crabb is a Christian music artist from Kentucky. He was the lead vocalist for the group The Crabb Family until he started his solo career and released his self-titled debut solo album in 2009. This album won a 2010 Grammy Award for Best Southern/Country/Bluegrass Gospel Album of the year. Also in 2010 he won a Dove Award for Country Recorded Song of the Year “Somebody Like Me.” In 2011 Crabb won Dove Awards for Song of the Year (“Sometimes I Cry”), Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year (“Joseph”), and Traditional Gospel Recorded Song of the Year. This year Crabb has won two Dove Awards for Artist of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year.
Crabb hit the road at the age of 14, alongside his family, to use his God-given talent — his voice. He has a soulful, unforgettable voice that you don’t want to miss. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, Grand Ole Opry and churches around the world.
