Pam Tillis, one of country music’s legendary ladies, brings her acoustic trio to the Sondheim Center for an intimate evening at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28.
A recording artist, songwriter and Broadway star, Tillis has been a formidable force in country music since her first single hit the charts in 1990. She has racked up 14 top five hits including six that hit No. 1, charted more than 30 singles and has sold more than 6 million records.
Tillis, daughter of Mel Tillis, has won two Grammys and three CMA awards, including Vocalist of the Year. A member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2000, her hits include “Maybe it was Memphis,” “Spilled Perfume” and “Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life).” She also holds the distinction of being the first country entertainer to star in a Broadway Musical when she was cast in “Smokey Joe’s Café” in 1999.
Tickets are $32 for Zone 1, $28 for Zone 2, $23 for Zone 3 and youth tickets are $12.
